My friend Whitney and I are hosting a baby shower for a friend next month and are attempting to copy a cake we saw. Only thing is the cake is covered in fondant and neither of us have ever covered an entire cake with it. Whitney makes beautiful cakes and has used fondant made by Wilton for accents on her cakes. The stuff doesn't taste bad, but it's not our fav so we decided to make our own fondant. We used Wilton's recipe for marshmallow fondant and it turned out great! Here are a few photos of the finished product. This is not the design for the baby shower, but just a simple concept we came up with since we were doing a trial run.
